Week of February 11th 2011

Hola Amigos and welcome to another great week of beer. A few new beers to tempt your palate so come on down and give them a whirl. Top highlights include a brand new release from Crossroads brewing in Athens, Ny. They bring us Brady's bay Cream Ale, a classic golden ale that is sure to please the pilsner lovers. Bottle wise, we just received a shipment of Goose Island (chicago) limited Matilda release. If you are a Belgian Triple lover then check this one out! On to this week's list.....

NEW! Crossroads Brady’s Bay Cream Ale (Athens, NY): BRAND NEW RELEASE! Brewed by our good friend and loyal Bayside Press customer Kenny Landin, this is a golden ale that is crisp with a light refreshing body. A great craft beer for Pilsner fans who are ready to try something new 5% abv

NEW! Tröegs HopBack Amber Ale (PA): Copper brown hop-forward Amber ale that is well balanced with well noted malt highlights. A perfect beer for those that like a hop kick with a easy drinking ale. Perfect with spicy food. 6% abv

Blue Point Winter Ale (Patchogue): LOCAL FAVORITE! A robust amber ale. Brewed to chase away the chill of a cool winter night. Made with Pale, Vienna, crystal and chocolate malt. 5% abv

Speakeasy Payback Porter (CA): American hops provide a smooth distraction for its robust strength. Concealed within are the shadows of dark imported malts. Strong Beer! 7.5%abv

Barrier Brewing Bulkhead Red Ale (Oceanside): LOCAL FAVORITE! From our backyard comes this great American Red that balances sweet notes of caramel with great hop notes! 6.6% abv

Southampton Double White (Southampton): LOCAL FAVORITE! From out East comes this Belgian style wheat beer brewed with a generous portion of wheat and a special blend of spices, this beer is light and delicious! Pairs well with spicy foods! 5.5% abv

Captain Lawrence Freshchester Pale Ale (Pleasantville): LOCAL FAVORITE! From Westchester comes this top rated aromatic crisp pale ale. Loaded with West Coast hops and a strong malty backbone, this is a great example of a classic American Pale Ale. 5.6% abv

Radeberger Pilsner (Germany): Long enjoyed by German nobility, this is the world’s most famous pilsner. One sip and you will know why! Super refreshing and very smooth! 4.7% abv
